It's about family, nature, red brick & industrial chic. Here's the story of a very special hotel, a city resort waiting to be explored, until you make it your own.
From the striking historical exterior, to the warm Romanian welcome waiting for you inside, the emphasis throughout is on comfort and high quality services.
The architectural style dates from the interbellum period, with the façade being the original one, built in 1930. During the Communist era, the building was used as an alcohol factory which used glucose in the distillation process - an industrial touch that the owners chose to preserve in the design and the naming.
In reconstructing the interior, we paid our respects to the past by conserving the elements with vibrant colours and warm textures: red bricks, metal shapes, small machinery. Discover them, they live to tell our story!
Take a stroll on the Caro domain and feel the energetic vibes. Start with the cocktail terrace and enjoy the light breeze, then relax in one of our pavilions, with their cast iron lacing. The lake will lure you away for selfies, then move on to the Magic Grove. Recharge your creative batteries and enjoy some amazing birdwatching!
Go on and cross the grassy lawns: unveil the hidden machinery, mementos of the industrial past. Have a book, sip a smoothie at “The Hammocks”, then head for “La Vitrine” and find the secret corridor leading to ”La Catarge” (The Mast”) Terrace, where you can enjoy the sunset in all its splendor!
Visit Caro and enjoy nature hiding in the city!
